Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the conduct and content standards that apply to everyone who uses SinglesPop. It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Use. By using the Service, you agree to follow this policy in addition to the Terms.

2. Accounts

You agree to:

• Be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, truthful information in your profile.
• Maintain only one account, tied to your own identity.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and not transfer your account to anyone else.
• Not create an account on behalf of, or impersonating, another person without their consent.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or repeatedly contact another user who has asked you to stop or declined to match with you.
• Engage in, promote, or facilitate human trafficking or sex trafficking in any form, including sexual exploitation.
• Engage in scam activity, financial fraud, or any scheme intended to defraud other users of the platform.
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation, advertising, fundraising, or spam of any kind.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or copy any data or content from the Service by automated means.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or any non-public part of the Service.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, rate limits, or moderation systems.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to create accounts, generate messages, or interact with other users.
• Disrupt, overburden, or impair the Service's infrastructure.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, post, or send content that:

• Depicts nudity, sexually explicit material, sexual violence, or non-consensual intimate content, or is unsolicited sexual content sent to another user.
• Depicts, describes, or sexualizes minors in any way. SinglesPop has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material or exploitation of any kind — see our Child Safety Standards for how we detect, remove, and report this content.
• Promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, or illegal activity.
• Contains hate speech or attacks a person or group based on a protected characteristic.
• Shares another person's private information without their consent (doxxing).
• Infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonates another person, brand, or organization.

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior or content that violates this policy, use the block and report tools available on any profile, message, or conversation within the app. Our trust and safety team reviews reports and takes action based on their severity.

6. Enforcement

Violating this policy may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Balloon credits forfeited due to a termination for policy violations are not refunded, consistent with our Payment Terms.

Where required by law or necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public, we may report violations to law enforcement and cooperate with valid legal requests for account information.

7. Relationship to Other Policies

This AUP works alongside our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Child Safety Standards. If any provision here conflicts with the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use control.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
